YCET B.tech 6th semester Civil Engineering students got incredible experience after Attending an international workshop at IIT on “Sustainable Materials and Construction.” Jammu from 14th feb 2025 to 16th feb 2025.Which would have been a great opportunity to learn from International aswell as Countries academia, industry experts, collaborate with peers from different backgrounds, and gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies and research.there were many presentations ,videos shown on High speed train etc.The ultimate objective was the growing emphasis on sustainability in construction and engineering. Sustainable materials and construction practices are essential for reducing environmental impact and promoting energy-efficient buildings.The inaugural was attended by Er.Dinesh Gupta,Dean(academics),Er.Rajnish Magotra,Head,Dept.of Civil Engg,Ycet.Ycet firmly believe that exposure to the students is must so that they can face easily the challenges of the competitive world and contribute for the nation and become responsible citizens.
