YCET faculty Delivered Talk in International Conference (ICESCE-2021) as Special Speaker
“It wont take much energy, to conserve Energy Believing this quote, Er. Loveneesh Talwar HOD Electrical Department, YCET has been invited as a keynote speaker to deliver talk in International Conference on Emerging Trends in Science and Circuit Engineering (ICESCE-2021) which was organized by ADHI college of Engineering & Technology, Kanchipuram on (23-24 April,2021)
He delivered talk on Energy Conservation Techniques and how to conserve energy for Future. Efficient utilization of energy resource is not only conservational it also saves capital investment. Electric energy occupies the top grade in the energy hierarchy. It finds innumerable uses in home, industry, agriculture and in transport. In his talk, he also emphasis on Energy audit. An energy audit is an inspection survey and an analysis of energy flows for energy conservation in a building. It may include a process or system to reduce the amount of energy input into the system without negatively affecting the output. Energy conservation is the effort made to reduce the consumption of energy by using less of an energy service. This can be achieved either by using energy more efficiently or by reducing the amount of service used. Energy conservation is a part of the concept of Eco-sufficiency. Energy is of two types Conventional and Non-conventional but as the time passes by, the generation rate of electricity is very low compared to our consumption rate. Due to which we are focusing on non conventional resources. We can conserve energy by using two methods one is by reducing the use of energy efficient devices and secondly we can use energy optimum techniques to conserve energy. He also show one of his case studies in which he represents how to conserve energy in domestic sector by using 4 Energy Conservation Methods and what is its payback period.
In the end, Er. Loveneesh Talwar thanks Dr. K.B.Bhaskar, Convenor and Dr. Dinesh for inviting him for giving him opportunity to deliver guest lecture. Overall the exposure to knowledge and modern trends proved many folds beneficial for him who took to this opportunity in the fullest and motivate other faculty to participate in such events. He also mentions the immense gratitude for the management of YCET and Prof. (Dr.) A.K. Srivatsva (Director YCET).
