Campus placement drive was held at YoganandaCollege of Engineering &Technology ( YCET ), Jammuas a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, which deals in bringing academia-industry interface for the students of YCET and Institute of Management Sciences (IMS).YCET organized the Campus Recruitment Drive for world renowned E-commerce companies likeFlip Kart, Adobe and Shinning Star on 2nd Aug, 2021, for all the Final Year B. Tech. students of YCET and Final Year MBA Students of IMS. The job profiles offered by the companies includeHR Recruiter, Technical SupportExecutive in process, CustomerCare Executive in premium process and E- Commerce Customer Service Representatives with extremely good in terms of English language and to work in different time zones.
A total of 156 students from both the colleges participated in the event. At the end of a grueling selection process, which included aptitude tests, group discussions, personal interviews and telephonic interviews, 07 students were finally recruited through the placement event. The programme was conducted by the Placement Cell of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu.
All the selected students will get the package in the range of 2 lacs to 2.4 lacsper annum depending upon their performance after training. The five selected students in Flip Kart are PallaviJasrotia and Danyal Bhatt of CSE Department, Shubham Sharma of Electrical Department, Karan Dev Singh of Mechanical Department and ShivaniRaina of Institute of Management Sciences (IMS). One student Ehtisham Khan of Mechanical Engineering Department is selected in Adobe Inc. and another student ShwetaRaina got selected in Shinning Star. asHR recruiterfrom Institute of Management Sciences. .
