The Department of Electrical Engineering, Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology ( YCET ) organized workshop on “Innovation as Career Opportunity” on 22nd November, 2021 for Computer Science & Electrical Engineering students.
Innovation is the practical implementation of ideas that result in the introduction of new goods or services or improvement in offering goods or services. Innovation, for its part, can refer to something new or to a change made to an existing product, idea or field.
The session began with welcome address by Er. Loveneesh Talwar, HOD ( Electrical Engineering ). Er. Dinesh Gupta, President, IIC Cell briefed about IIC Cell.
The resource person Sri G.M Srinivasan, Founder Sriluck Paints, Tamil Nadu had experience of Offshore Engineer in Dynamic Offshore Ltd., Mumbai and along with that he also worked in Hong Kong mineral water export project and participated in international conference meeting in Cambodia. He went to Russia and completed a project with the Russia Government and was appointed as Deputy Executive Director of Ilinsky State.
He explained the importance of innovation. He made the students aware about his experience and taught how to focus about innovation, why innovation matters, what is the right mindset for innovation. The students were fortunate to have got the chance to attend this session for increasing their knowledge and creative extravagance along with the expert. The guests remained highly commemorative of the efforts for organizing session.
Prof. ( Dr. ) A. K. Srivastava, Director, YCET appreciated the efforts of Electrical & CSE / IT Department and motivated the students to think out of the box and start their own industries and become job giver instead of job seeker. He said that such session will be very helpful to the students. The session was coordinated by Er. Robin Kumar, Coordinator of CSE department who also gave a formal vote of thanks.
