Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology organized a spiritual
awareness programme on Sahaja Yoga. The main aim of the programme was to
channelize the youthful energy of budding technocrats in a right direction. A team of
Sahaj yogis from Delhi consisting of Mr NN Tikoo, Col Satish Shukla (Retd) Mr Aditya
prasad, Mrs Ranjana Varma, Mrs Poonam Shukla conducted a stress management
session through Sahaj yoga. The programme started by explaining the science of
Sahaja yoga and how this knowledge of Sahaja yoga and how this knowledge of
Sahaja yoga helps to reduce stress and bring balance to life of practioner.This was
followed by a practical session taking the participants through the process of self
Realisation and meditation. The session further elaborated that the Sahaja yoga is a
process in which the subject, object and the process becomes one through which
active energy flows out and calm energy comes in. The session also debated about
the benefits of Sahaja yoga.
The session began with lighting of ceremonial lamp. The guests were received
by Er B.R Verma, chief coordinator and presented a bouquet on behalf of Yogananda
college of engineering. The session was attended by faculty and students of all
engineering branches. The programme was organised by department of civil
engineering. Dean (Academics) Er Dinesh Gupta,Sh RS Dalpatia ,Deputy registrar,
All Hod’s were present during the session. The session was very refreshing and fruitful.
The Chairman, Jgei Er Vidhi.s.singh and Er Renu Bangroo,MD,Jgei appreciated the
effort of the department for organizing such session. Which is the need of hour.
