The Department of Computer Engineering, Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organized a workshop on “Oracle cloud infrastructure” on 8th April 2022 for all the students of Computer Engineering.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a platform of cloud services that enable you to build and run a wide range of applications in a highly-available, consistently high-performance environment.
The session began with the welcome address by Er. Dinesh Gupta, ( Dean Academics ). Mr. Rishi Mahajan, Solution Architecture with 17 years of experience in Cloud Solution Architecture, Infrastructure/Database Management. He is having experience with multiple rational and nonrelational Databases like Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, Mongo DB, Cassandra, Yugabyte, Neo4j, etc. He is having Strong expertise in building solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud. He briefed students about the services needed to migrate, build, and run all existing enterprise workloads to new cloud-native applications and data platforms. Further, he explained how oracle infrastructure works i.e. offers high-performance compute capabilities as physical hardware instances and storage capacity in a flexible overlay virtual network that is securely accessible from your on-premises network. The students were fortunate to have got the chance to attend this session for increasing their knowledge and creative extravagance along with the expert. The guests remained highly commemorative of the efforts for organizing the session.
Er. BR Verma ( Chief Coordinator ) appreciated the efforts of the Computer science department.
The session was coordinated by Er. Robin Kumar ( HOD ) of the Computer Engineering department also gave a formal vote of thanks.
